Step Aboard

Our custom, 41’ charter boat, the Gold Reserve, was built specifically to find and catch fish in the Florida keys offshore waters. She is spacious and meticulously maintained, featuring air conditioning, plenty of room for multiple anglers, top-of-the-line fishing equipment and gear, She has twin turbo-charged diesel engines, full sized tower, two running stations and is fully equipped with two sets of electronics. She has three live bait wells capable of holding a thousand or more live baits of various types. Remember you are fishing in Islamorada "Live Bait Capital of the World" and this will make the difference between catching fish or not and how many different kinds of fishing you can do in one day.

A Few Words from the Captain

Hello, my name is Kevin Brown. After years of fishing in the Atlantic Ocean and from California through Mexico, I went to the Florida Keys to learn from the best. My first 2 years in Islamorada I worked as a mate. I was hard-working and competent on the water, which enabled me to pick and choose which captains I wanted to work with and learn from.

After working with some of the best captains, I founded Gold Reserve Charters in 1991. I have been running 200-350 charters per year ever since. Having caught every species of fish that swims down here thousands of times, you can trust that I have the experience and knowledge to provide you with a successful, safe and unforgettable fishing charter experience.

If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact me directly.
I take a personal approach to every fishing trip, paying close attention
to my clients’ wishes and needs. I hope to see you soon.

Best Wishes, Captain Kevin Brown
